Looking for a good cha cha Teng in Cheung Sha Wan area? I recommend checking out 雪山冰廳. First off, this place is quite spacious and clean for a CCT. Which is always a plus. 🤩 This CCT offers a lot of experimental, fusion types of choices. Such as, red bean milk tea, Nutella french toast, and salted egg chicken wings. I had to try it all. My favourite was the salted egg chicken wings and the red bean milk tea - would definitely come back for it. If you’re a salted egg yolk fan, I’d guarantee you’ll like it too! They do afternoon tea as well, so if you’re around the area I’d suggest to visit to check it out! . 📌 - Cheung Sha Wan 🧾 - ~$50-100 per person . 🐶雪山冰廳(Sham Shui Po) Cha Chaan Ting, a nostalgic spot which filled with HK ppl childhood memories, and is still renowned even when ppl grow up. My dad is undoubtedly a big fan of it. That’s why I brought him to one of the popular Cha Chaan Ting in Sham Shui Po. Such a pity that the experience was really a disappointment. Let’s delve into it and see what happened. 👍🏿Deep-fried chicken thigh $44(8/10) This tea set was initially served with red beans ice, but I changed it to HK-style milk tea. So unique was the milk tea served in a bottle. It was instagramable but the taste was so-so. In order to avoid taking in too much non-nutritional fat, I used to peel the skin off before eating chicken even the deep fried one is often crispy. So tender was the flesh that slightly impressed me. Would be even better if the chicken was more juicy. 👌🏿French toast w/ hazelnut sauce $35(4.5/10) Syrup was provided and u can add as much as u like. Disappointed by the noncrispy outer layer, I did not rank it high. The texture of the bread was right but the overall taste did not act like a French toast. It seemed to be an oily sandwich which slathered with Nutella. 👎🏿Classic beef burger w/ cheese n egg $39(0/10) That was the worst burger that I’ve ever had. Spread with Japanese Seasame sauce, the bread was a bit weird. The egg was fully cooked which was not my cup of coffee. The “beef” patty did not taste Lucile beef at all. The lack of the taste of beef made it seem like eating dough. Witnessing the “beef” patty seemed a bit uncooked, I was undeniably dissatisfied. For those drinks that were served with the meal, we chose iced lemon tea, lemon soda, and milk tea. All were so-so.
